Improving the Lives of Working Women
From 1984 through 1995, and in 2004 through 2011 N.E.W. proudly hosted the Exceptional Woman of the Year Awards [EWOTY]. This annual event attracted hundreds of attendees, speakers of national prominence and an abundance of media attention. EWOTY bestows recognition on Tampa Bay area women who achieved power and influence while also displaying a commitment to the advancement of women and the community at large.
Through its scholarship program, N.E.W. has proudly awarded thousands of dollars in financial grants to support furthering the education of local women. These awards were announced and made annually at the EWOTY event.
